How to Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion using either of the following methods:

Option 1: In-App

1. Open the 4WDGrid app
2. Go to Profile > Settings
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Option 2: Email

Send an email to privacy@4wdgrid.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete My Account". We will process your request within 7 business days.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:

• Your profile information (name, username, email, avatar, bio)
• Your vehicle/rig profiles and specifications
• Your trip recordings and GPS data
• Your photos and media uploads
• Your social connections (followers, following)
• Your direct messages
• Your comments, kudos, and posts
• Your badges and challenge progress
• Your push notification tokens and preferences

What Data Is Retained

The following data may be retained after account deletion:

• Anonymised, aggregated data such as heatmap cells and track usage statistics that contain no personally identifiable information
• Backups containing your data may persist for up to 90 days before being automatically purged
• Subscription records may be retained by our payment processor (Google Play / Apple) per their own policies
